Camille Allen

Camille Allen lives in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada. She is 25,
married with no children yet. She sculpts her miniature and lifesize babies
in a large studio in a bright and cheerful heritage building built in 1916.
She first learned the art of doll making from her husband's grandmother
Clara Allen 5 years ago. Since then she has ventured into miniature
sculpting, creating tiny yet amazingly realistic babies in many poses.
Her miniature babies have become known all over the world by means of an
email forward depicting them as "marzipan babies". However, contrary to
popular opinion, they are not made of marzipan.
Camille's dolls and sculptures have been exhibited at the Magnum Opus show
in New York, as well as featured on the Montel Williams television talk
show. Her dolls have sold for over $3000.00 US dollars, and reside in
collections all over the world.
